FAAAASHION WEEEEK!!!

As everyone knows, it's been London Fashion Week S/S 2013 the last few days so I've been meaning to do a big post on my highlights and wants...

Click on the photos to see it in detail!

The Friday: So much black and white!

Sass & Bide

I loved this collection, it was very simple and wearable with really nice little details, I'd totally wear this outfit.

Bora Aksu

Detached collars paired with layers of light, chiffon prints on flowing dresses. I love the colours, want this dress!

Eley Kishimoto

I loved the combinations of prints in this collection! That cardigan is just amazing! I'm definitely going to be wearing a lot of patterned socks with patterned shoes soon.

PPQ

Always one of my favourite designers and this season was no acception, very wearable and chic. I've noticed I definitely love the little details...

The Saturday: candy colours!

Markus Lupfer

Who knew German designers could be so awesome!? I've never heard of this guy before, but I loved his whole collection! I'm like a magpie, I loved all the shiney things, couldn't choose just one outfit.

Sister by Sibling

This was so fun! Candy colours and skulls... what more could you want!

Holly Fulton

Ridiculously cool!!! Colour and style wise. I'm definitely becoming a shirt and jacket kind of girl.

Antipodium

The model is a little scary, but I loooooove this outfit!!! This is my new favourite colour combination. I've always wanted to wear a baseball jacket but never knew how to incorporate it into my style... now I know they can be cute a girly too!

Moschino Cheap & Chic

I wasn't overly impressed with this collection, but there were a few aspects I enjoyed. I'm always drawn to the novel in fashion, so this little jar print bag and coat combo definitely caught my attention.

The Sunday: print, print and more print!

DB Berdan

Another designers I'd not heard of, but fell in love with. The combination of pastels, print, chunky and leather belt and a cute shirt is just amazing, new look inspiration!

Matthew Williamson

Much chic-er than the designers I usually like, but I just adore prints with a scene in them!

Vivienne Westwood Red Label

Anything mustard yellow and silky has my vote! Even if it has a weird granny vibe to it...

Acne

My favourite part of this collection were these amazing shoes!!!

Paul Smith

This collection was beautiful, nicely cut and such a good range of colours. I think so many of these items could also be worked into my style, love that shirt on the left.

Temperley London

Was so hard to choose just one outfit from this collection, I loved it all! I love the 50's shapes and the cool colours mixed with such feminine prints.

Jonathan Saunders

Another one I was too impressed by, but I enjoyed this outfit.

To be continued... xxx

Thursday 13 September 2012

Hello!!!

I know, I've neglected this for about a month now, it's because I've been working 2 jobs for a while... meaning I'm at work E-V-E-R-Y day! Euuuugh, hard work.

...but, today is my first day at Cath Kidston! I'm not the biggest fan of her stuff, but I think the odd item could be worked into such a cool look, home accessories and clothing.

I looooove these cowboy towels!!! Actually, any of the cowboy print items I love.

Also, here's a sneak peek at a dress I made and want to put on my shop eventually. I'm not too sure about the photo yet, I'm so not a model haha.

...my favourite thing to be inspired by at the moment is vintage clothing, they're always so creative with the fastenings and details. Like the little layers on this dress, it has quite a 50's feel.

I'll update more later :)

Heeeeey!

I spent all day today looking for junior pattern cutter positions... and nothing! There just seems to be nothing about at the moment, and all the ones that are online say you need "minimum 3 years experience"! How's anyone meant to make it in this industry if no one gets a chance :(

...this just means, I'm going to put all my heart into my shop! :) You'll be seeing clothing up SOON! Eee, exciting!!!

Anyway, I think today I've found a love for blazers! I love this floral one from River Island...

Never thought I'd be a blazer girl, but I could be persuaded with this!

I LOVE mis-matching colours and prints, imagine this with these in your hair...

...ahh, such a pretty combination!!! From CandyAppleLocks on Etsy

I'm obsessed with Etsy, I love this ring by isewcute!

ShopKaleidoscopeeyes <-- Amazing seller!!! Want some of her stuff so bad.

That's all for today, BYE!!!

Heeeeeey, how amazing are we doing in the Olympics!? I can't believe it, I'm pretty impressed. Makes me wanna do sports... well, maybe not. Haha.

Found a number of cute things today...

Look at these adorable coloured bears and bunnies on Etsy!!!

They're from popstarcrafts

Pretty image on Hyper Japan of Roxie Sweetheart accessories

And finally, new items on my shop!!! Check them out and then tell your friends, then tell them to tell their friends... hehe. These are all illustrator drawings by me and everything made from resin has been lovingly hand casted by me, I'm pretty proud of them and hope everyone likes them :)

First entry...

This is officially THE blog I've planned on starting for many years (ok, this might be about the 5th attempt...) As I'm an internet addict, it's going to be filled with anything cute and interesting I come across.

So... obviously, as it's what everyone has been talking about and will be talking about the next few weeks, I'm gunna begin with the Olympics. I'm not a sporty person AT ALL and wasn't even the slightest bit excited about it starting... but now it's here, I quite like it!

My favourite athlete (sorry, he's not from GB) is this guy, Marcel Nguyen from Germany... look at that hair!

He makes men's gymnastics look hot.

More from me coming soon :)
